      Scott Oppliger is founder and chief executive office at SocialVolt. Scott leverages his entrepreneurial background in banking and technology to lead the direction and corporate vision of SocialVolt. His passion for social media and technology drive his unique business style.

      Prior to starting SocialVolt, Scott served as president of Oppliger Banking Systems and founded both GlobalVision Systems and Oppliger Communications. His extensive experience in developing and managing technology, especially in heavily regulated industries, has allowed him to build a deep understanding of the technology community and the compliance issues faced by enterprises.

      Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Kansas State University. He spends his free time with his kids, playing soccer and enjoying the lake. He also has a passion for music, art, photography and gardening.

      Derrek Harter is chief operating officer at SocialVolt. In this position, Derrek is responsible for overseeing business development, marketing, and account and channel development. He has more than 10 years of experience in a diverse set of positions working for both Fortune 500 companies and startups. He has previously held managerial roles at both EMBARQ and Sprint, where he developed a passion for sales and technology.

      Derrek holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Rockhurst University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emporia State University. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing soccer, golfing and spending time outdoors.
